    Seems to me that if dangerous and illegal behaviour towards cyclists is disregarded by police, then one can expect frustrations and this kind of altercation. Unacceptable conduct towards cyclists appears to be ignored by police, so dangerous behaviours become more common and frustration builds. There is a real problem that police aren't doing their job - e.g. enforcing ASZs, taking action against dangerous driving towards cyclists etc.

    There seems to be a very negative attitude towards cyclists by police (at least in London). That's something that has to be tackled - which probably means addressing this at a political level - i.e. making this an issue for MPs and councillors - who can then put pressure on at senior levels of Met and City of London police, including setting police priorities.
