Thanks for the writeup, Oliver. I really wish I'd been able to read this, and have experience of being in situations within the mental health system, prior to going to court with our ex-landlord. I think things might have turned out differently.
Also, what is this "common hand signal" that lets drivers know you know they're behind you? The only one I use is flat hand with palm towards car, gesturing backward, saying, in my mind, Don't Pass Me.
