A driver assaulted me on a Saturday afternoon in June- got out of the car, grabbed me, yelled abuse, threatened to kill me. Got 2 witnesses, made a complaint to the police, they charged the driver with common assault, use of threatening words/ behaviour to cause harassement, alarm or distress, and driving without due care and attention. He pleaded not guilty, case goes to trial on the 25th of October.
Hopefully the case will be judged on what happened, rather than the race, class and chosen mode of transport of those involved.What happened in the end?
