I do apologize for my typo.
There are plenty of beautiful road frames out there, but converting one of them would be equal to "killing a puppy" (use search option for that, top right corner).
When it comes to conversion kits, they all are shit, don't bother. There isn't a cheap and safe way of doing it.
Buy White Industries hubs or a frame for a purpose.
