I just took delivery of a tin of this. I've a feeling that it's going to be a long old day so I'm looking forward to sitting in my garden tonight with my feet up, pipe in one hand and maybe a whiskey in the other.

not pipe baccy, but has anyone tried that "american spirit" stuff? ive been hearing people go on about it being really nice, but i wonder if they are caught up in the nice packaging and the fact its organic.

i would just go out and buy a pouch, but they only do 50g and i already have a years supply of GV/drum gold, so it seems silly to waste what little money i have on more baccy.

american spirit is a pretty sweet rollup. nice for rigging up as well if thats your kinda thing.
well expensive and comes really dry, gotta moisten it up a bit with orange peel, rum or whatever takes your fancy.
despite being organic it has more nicotine in it than almost any other brand(cant remember where i read that now)

i thought i might suit a pipe. i've given up smoking cigarettes except when i am working and take time out to think something over - then they really help for some reason. so i thought a pipe would be a good replacement. sit down with a pipe and mull things over, plus i don't inhale so no chest problems as with cigarettes. so i bought a pipe today. it's bloody horrible - reminds me of smoking bongs when i was a lad and at least then you knew you were doing it for a reason. as i sucked on my pipe trying to convince myself that i was enjoying it it just seemed so pointless. overall i am quite disappointed.
