I was planning on upgrading to the zeros anyway, but I'd rather not trash the LA set if they can be salvaged. Anyone know of a shop that will service them? That re-greasing gun is £30 alone.

Thinking of switching to clipless pedals and getting the atac's with mavic razor shoes, but I'm struggling to figure out which cleats are the single release ones. Could anyone point me in the right direction please?
-
• #204
eh? Time atac's only use 1 kind of cleat.

That explains why I could only find one type of cleat for them!
Reading through the thread and seeing talk of single and multi release cleats I thought was the same across the board.

Do people find Keo Max pedals to be any better than regular Keos?
Keo Plus - 35 squid on offer from Ribble.
Keo Max - 70+ nuggets. Seems a lot for cosmetic improvements?Keo Blades are on the pricey side so I'm choosing between;
Keo Classic,
Keo Plus,
Keo MaxAre there other pedals worth looking into, or have Look got it sewn up?
- this is for road riding, the odd race and occasional tt.

I'm after a pair of the old SPD-R pedals... has anyone got a paid sat around they'd be keen to sell?

Probably a bit late, but I'm a convert to SPD-SL over Keos. Cleats and pedals way more durable, and the tension can be ratcheted up higher than Keos. No real difference between 105 and Ultegra pedals bar the finish and a little bit of weight, not tried the Dura-Ace ones. Top tip - go to Evans and get them to price match Ribble on the 105s for about 35 quids

Do have some sort of strange love for lists? :)
Not any longer. :)
Outgrew them. No people just criticize. Too funny.
Crank Bros were there in the original list, but somehow I guess I lost them in a re-do.

Not too late!
Many thanks, great info.
ref frogs 'This was probably in 2000 or earlier'
they are G3 now, and I can't do what he does to disengage. I have 2 sets of frogs, they remain my #1 recommendation of pedal for utility/urban.
his other point, lubricating the contact points of all pedals has been on all the documentation I've seen over the years - these are the recessed part of the cleat or just lube the pedals. Doesn't need to be every time you ride either. no biggy..
there aren't any others that get me 15-20 degrees of knee friendly float and have no spring to fight to get out of them.
The only pedals by them I won't recommend are the light action ones. Just google..
Frogs + Zeros are the way forward.
