Smashing bike and everything, don't know much about griffin of Kent, but I don't think it's the same as Bob Griffin - Bob was based in Cheltenham back in the 90's in my cotswold league days, I used to drop in at his shop - as far as I recall all his bikes had the full name "BOB GRIFFIN" on the downtube with a Griffin's head between the 2 words. On the headtube were the letters BG.
I may be talking out of my hat - he may have come to Cheltenham from Kent, but my memories are confirmed by a facebook group the Bob Griffin appreciation society - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=18375583096&v=photos
