well if you'd watched the documentary then you'd see that all the information in it comes from interviews - it's in finland mostly, and the people interviewed are the ones who are designing the nuclear waste stores, heads of government nuclear energy departments etc. so basically people like you except who know more ;)

no offence intended, i dont know enough myself to judge the science but they seem like they probably would. they have at least gone to a lot of effort to make the film scientifically accurate.

No offence intended from me either. I have no doubt they were intelligent sciency/engineery types but even those kinds can have agendas. And documentary filmmakers invariably do.
