  • Was a fun one, definetly enjoyed being on gears (booo). Lost count of how many laps but my computer gave the following:

    Distance: 17.8 miles
Average Speed: 20.8mph (not moving speed, comp sucks)

I did resort to screaming very very loudily in order to keep up with OSR and co. Darkness wasn't too scary and everyone was quite well behaved, although somebody made a rather dubious undertake at one point which caused a bit of a scare further back. Not sure if it was one of our lot

This would be about 6 laps according to my computer its 2.8 round once

  • Whats everyone saying for HoP this week? Early start again? Apparently by the end of the month when the clocks go back, it will be dark by 430. Daylight savings win.

  • Not sure =/ there's rollapaluza action going down at barbican if anyone wants a diversion before/after. 1 on 1 grudge spinning. I've never recorded a time so would like to give it a go...

  • Website says it runs til half 11, no rush.

    Link?

I kinda fancy having a go, too...

Out for tomorrow, don't finish work until 7pm, then have a cheese and wine tasting to attend. Man, my job is tough sometimes.

  • Sounds cool. Its bloody windy today, will probably give this a miss and check out the rolla.

  • Windy, dark, likely to rain, tired. I'm out, going home to sleep.

    pfft poor show.

I'm out off to see Ufomammut & slabdragger and my calf hurts

  • I think I'll just rolla, pop in to look mum and head home. don't feel 100% recovered from tuesday's dose of death yet anyway.

  • They sound charming!

    Ufomammut & slabdragger

  • check the gig thread... you'll hate them

    Did you make this video:

    Ufomammut - Smoke - YouTube

  • nope, it's some chap riding around on a scooter isn't it?

  • Working,
    Out.
    Fun headwind.

  • not sure didn't really watch it i was hoping to embarrass some one.

I am going to be arriving at the park in a bout an hour if any one else was contemplating an early afternoon ride

  • 27:37... Fuck it, I'm gonna give up cycling...

or maybe buy a set of rollers and try to grow 6" taller.

  • can't believe HoKe did HoP and then dominated on the rollers. What a beast.
    (24.55, meh)

  • LOL, cheers man, was thinking just come to see what the bicycle film festival and bumped into the gang! good fun!

  • Good work Hoke, did you win the whole thing then? I thought you got 26.something 6pt?

  • It was 26pt something (see what i did there) but he redeemed himself by taking my place in the quarter (?) final (got through with a 24.74).

There does not appear to be any correlation between althleticism and rollerz based on the courier runts that were pulling 22.something out the bag!

  • /we do HoP every week through the summer and rock, regardless of rollerz results :-)

  • Na, did not win Hovis, got to the quarters, but got my best time of 22.99 in the end! so happy about that! now off to herne hill for sat...

  • The final was a kilo and was won by 0.06 seconds. It was insane.
