Rode past this eastbound around 6:30 when I think an ambulance had just arrived. There was someone on the ground, partly covered with a blanket, being attended to by a few people. Definitely seemed to be a cyclist.

Does anyone have any more information?
My girlfriend rides a blue shopper and would have been heading that way at about that time. I'm away for a couple of days and haven't heard from here since 6pm and can't get hold of her now.
If anyone could let me know anything at all that would be great. I've had a bad feeling since hearing about the girl at King's Cross and would really like my fears allayed now.

Sorry to hear. Too late for me. Have you got any other contact details? Or someone else in London who could check for ya?

I'm trying to get the numbers of some of the people she was supposed to be going out with tonight but I don't know them and it's a brand new group of students so they won't even know each other yet. There's no-one I know that lives close enough to check and I don't want to send people halfway across London over something that's probably nothing

I can't find anything more about the incident I'm afraid.

Don't worry mate, I appreciate your concern

No major trauma came to me at Royal London at this time.

UCH said there was no-one with her name brought in around that time, and didn't seem to think they dealt with a cycle crash either.

My gf is safe. I hope whoever this was is too.

Good to hear
Just rode home at approx. 9pm. Saw around 5 police bikes, at least one police car, the left hand lane cordoned-off with police tape, and an "Incident" flashing sign was erected.
The only remaining evidence left was a ladies' blue shopper bike propped-up against the wall with no rider.
This was Euston Road, near Park Square Gardens. Hope nobody has been badly hurt.
