I broke a spoke in Richmond Park on my Roval wheels, I rode past 5 bike shops on the way home, including Putney cycles, Holdsworth, Cycle Surgery, and an Evans. None of them had the correct tool. I ended sticking my bike in an Addison Lee
I'm rarely within 20km of a bikeshop, so my opinion is void TBH. I have even been considering removing the two arms of my triple internal spoke tool, that dont fit my nipples. To better allow packing in ultra a small'n'light roadie saddle bag.
If we are recommending alternatives, instead of answering the OP....
Aero option:
IRD Aero, laced to Novatec Superlites
Shallow option:
Ambrossio Excellight, laced to Ultrega.
If you're not too heavy. The Stans Alpha rim is light. I have idea about riding tubeless on the road though.
