First time on fixed yesterday and kept forgetting that I needed to keep moving my legs to slow down.

You use a brake to slow down.

Anyway, LightEDDed, just keep riding. Practise and all that shit. And don't go brakless immediately (if you want to that is). More you ride the easier it becomes. I've haven't ridden fixed for 5 weeks and started again last night, felt like I was learning to skid again for the first time. It also made me think my handlebars are too narrow.

Practice OP and make sure you stick to your limits. stay in control at all times and the speed/accuracy will come quickly

Just keep practising mate, don't go brakeless straight away either!

I still ride singlespeed on the commute as it's easier to get in and out of pedals on ss than when fixed.

Hi ive just got my new bike fixed wheel track bike , never ridden fixed before . i dont know wether its me or not felt weird and dangerous not brakes at mo .. am putting brake on tomorrow will that make me more confident . running keo pedals any ideas help please
