  • I would like to be shot of the following:

    Cheap Shimano front derailleur
I've had this in my spares box for ages. Someone please take it.
    Free

    Old-style straight alloy seatpost, 27.2mm?
Beaten up, but still solid. I think it came from a 531 frame, so I'm guessing it's 27.2mm.
    GONE

Thun BB cups and bearings, English threaded
Bought for a beater, lightly used, then swapped for something else.
    GONE

    KMC narrow (3/32) single-speed chain
Used, but generally OK. 101 links.
    GONE

Collection is from Shadwell E1 or for the seatpost and the derailleur, Imperial College SW7.

  • Hi again,
(I posted in your other thread)
I'd also definitely be interested in a complete steel headset.
    Thanks

  • Me too, if you have one! Even just the top half if you can't find a whole one.
My bro works in IT support at imperial so could pick up off you whenever.
    Thanks!

  • OK, I'll look in the bag and take some photographs. There's definitely some there, and the top half of an old Shimano 105.

  • id like the bars if they are still up for grabs, ill pm now

  • That'd be PERFECT teetee.
    Thanks.

  • Steel headset parts. It's possible to cobble together two, I think. The one on the right has a Shimano 105 top half with a generic steel bottom half. The one on the left is tatty generic steel bits and could do with a spacer, but I don't have one. There are various races and some bearings and spacers.

  • Chrome bars gone.

  • Shimano 105 headset gone. Anyone for an old derailleur or a mystery seatpost?

  • If seatpost is 27.0mm, yes please.

  • ^ I'm not sure what it is, I'm afraid.

I've updated the list with a couple of new items added. All free to good homes.

  • hi, Il take the chain, seatpost, bb cups and other headset if thats cool. will PM about meeting..

  • Oh, Tom, have you got any spacers for that headset? I can't find any in my shed and my steerer's about 1mm too long. Just need a 2mm spacer without the little 'tag' that stops it from moving as my fork steerer doesn't have the requisite dent.

  • No, I'm afraid that's all there was. Have you tried your LBS? They might be able to help out.

  • Does ANYONE want that derailleur?
