anyone with a cheap 700c 40H rim .. needs a braking surface ... not too bothered about make or looks, just cheap .. ideally bombproof

I'm thinking about selling some sneaks, all either 9, 9.5, or uk10. (probably 10s)

Let me know if there's any interest locally before I chuck em up on the ebay. No idea what they're worth. (except the white nikes, which I think go for a bit now)
All worn, but well looked after. White supras have gone already.
Chuck me a PM if you're interested.

Get a Rigida Sputnik, Nige. They're widely reputed to be pretty bombproof, are available in 40H and are only 20 beer-tokens brand new! You could wait for a used one to come up a bit cheaper I s'pose if you don't mind waiting. Is this for lacing to a Sturmey hub, BTW?

That's the plan john - nick has been tempting me with a cute NOS 1958 FW 4 speed - the sputniks were top of my list last time around - seen some sexy alex rims for 35 - just wondered if anyone out there had anything useable before i got the credut card out

Aah! That ruins my next suggestion which was to buy a 36h SA hub, which would give you a better choice of rims ;(

Cgrayson - I've got a turbo trainer if you want it. One where you clamp the track nuts in. I'll take some snaps if you're interested. -

Anyone got a rear track hub that's surplus to requirements? Don't mind if the fixed side thread or lockring thread is stripped, 'cos i only intend using the freewheel side. Cheers.
nice! you missed out one crucial bit of info though haha, what size is it?
