A really dreadful day today....

As I went past at around 4:15 today I saw two messed up bikes and one man in the recovery position not moving by the side of the road.

There were a few pedestrians stopped and an ambulance was also in attendance.

Twitter hasnt said much.

Really hope you are ok and heal up well.

On Platt's Lane? Was this near the junction with FInchley Road so that the crash might have happened there, or was it somewhere on Platt's Lane far away from there?

It was at the small mini roundabout where Hermitage Lane joins onto Platt's Lane.
Large vehicles often shoot out there onto the roundabout without looking even though there is a blind entrance to that roundabout

Ah, a mini-roundabout. No surprises there. I can't remember that being there when I lived in the area (sixteen years ago), but it may have been. I thought I remembered Platt's Lane being a simple straight ahead street at that point, with Hermitage Road being in a minor junction. Thanks.

I hope the victim is not injured too seriously.
