Mac's? Quiet?

Wow, much quieter in here today.
Some one must have turned all the Mac's off.

I managed to block my Mail a few months ago by trying to send a bunch of huge images and now the message is stopping Mail from sending or receiving. Does anyone know where a bouts in the library i can find the message and try and delete it?
-
• #2383
can you not spotlight search the file name?
isn't it still in the outbox? you can delete from there.edit: it's not hard to find user>library>mail>mailboxes>outbox.mbox>messages
-
• #2384
Problem is i think it has been quietly trying to send the message for months so every time i delete it it magically reappears a second later!
Will follow your path and let you know.....

But I'm tempted to get a Mac so I can get involved in some heavy hitting socioeconomic goverment has failed us where's my firewire port discussions. If ever there was a spot for #firstworldproblem it's here.

as a P.C user you would probably be better off arguing about why your firewire port isn't powered.

Or you'd just use USB3 and wouldn't have the problem.

no digital backs use usb, been firewire for ages. and the newer ones will be using thunderbolt/lightpeak.
usb3 is of no use to me, while it's now asynchronous it's not as good/fast as lightpeak. only advantage is cost for cheap storage.

I don't think I own any firewire devices. The only time I've used the firewire port on the computer is when I'm drunkenly stabbing usb sticks at the front of the machine until it goes in one of the holes..

no reason at all for you to buy a mac then.

More the fact I have 4 or 5 win7 machines kicking around home now.
One of the guys here has a new macbook pro. He just upgraded it to 8gb as it was slowing down.
I think it's in his mind. -
• #2393
i think it's a hardrive spinning at 5000rpm.
-
• #2394
Unless he has SSD. He's probably running five virtual pc's on it.
-
• #2395
i suppose it's easier than carrying around 5 real pc laptops.
-
• #2396
They'd probably be servers, so yes, much easier.
-
• #2397
why doesn't he just get a decent PC laptop?
-
• #2398
You don't think I've already told him that? He likes the Macs. I think he's fond of them since driving his car over one and it not dying. He did manage to get a cd stuck in it that killed the drive though.

fanboy cretin.

Clearly.
I looked and he has a PC laptop as well. Greedy bastard.
haters are just as bad as the fanboys.
