I was going for the ss, but then I realised that my gf wouldn't be able to really use it if i did that so I reckon the 3spd would be a good compromise (and I'm picking gearing that'll give me a similiar GI to the SS GI I would have chose so i'll mostly just ride it in that gear anyways).
