Wanted: 26" wheelset

Rim brake, 9 speed. 36 hole ideally. Cheap and strong ideally. Or not too strong, but really really cheap.

hi, I have some nice silver ones in good condition, SRAM 9 speed cassette fitted, also with semi slick road tyres, 35's or so from memory. I'm pretty sure they are Rigida rims, but can check tomorrow.
Can do the wheels, tyres and cassette all for £85, pickup from Liverpool St or Ealing.

Hi, rims are actually Alex 'ace-17' rims, hubs are black with no branding, but are smooth running.
32 hole but are nice and strong. Tyres are Vredensten Perfect Moiree with reflective strips (which look like they would peel off if you didn't want them on).
The only downside is the cassette. Although it is a pretty new 11-27, my son has been running it on his bike and I think he's spaced it for his bike in a very weird way, as there is a double spaced gap between the 11 cog and the next cog, so it is currently a 7 speed!

I might be able to sort this out for you if I get time, or you can have it 'as is' for £75, with very good tyres.

Still hoping to hold out for something in a 36. Anyone? You can get a new pair for £50, which seems outrageous, but also like they're made of cheese.
