I think that consumer interests are important. I think we have a poor balance in society in this area. Also it would appear that those who are fortunate enough not to worry about these issues have no empathy or consideration for those on lower incomes and have a "doesn't effect me, I don't give shit attitude."

You have taught me nothing about computers or business mrsmyth, but you have confirmed my views on some of the problematic attitudes of this dam country.

you make it sound like i was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, FWIW i grew up with free school meals on a council estate and have been poor without any bank of mum and dad to fall back on, only i didn't become unpoor by grizzling about a manufacturer not putting firewire on a computer.
