If anyone cares, the math seems to work out after all:
(A2 - C2/cos(a)) * cos(a) + B2 = virtual horizontal TT length (chart)
Assuming A2 is the BB to virtual top length and B2 ends at the actual TT/ST joint that gives
A2 = 52 cm Effective TT = 54.1 cm
A2 = 54 cm Effective TT = 55.6 cm
