"chainring on the cog"
that was the point, not your laser-guided sarcasm.
cogs don't have chainrings, and you made yourself look a cunt.

Well done for calling me out on a grammar mistake when I am pissed as a fart ... you must be proud of yourself.

it's nothing to do with grammar, it's not knowing the correct terms for simple things, and of course carrying on like a bit of a helmet in general.

I was pissed as in lalalala land pissed okay ... I had a bad day and decided to create a joke thread because I was probably bored shitless ... I kept on drinking and mashed up making a reply on this thread ... Big deal mate. Considering on the same night I posted a video of arnie screaming in the jungle ... I think that is a good indication of my blood alcohol content.
I was going to write a long rambling reply about my personality ... but at the end of the day If you think I am a complete cunt, you know where the ignore button is.

Stop posting on the forum if you can't make legible post while drunk. I thought that was one of the main criterias of this forum?

A certain alcohol consumption is encouraged. Being able to post legible has never been a criteria......I hope. -

Being able to post legible has never been a** criterion**......I hope.
oz doesn't know the plural, smallfurry doesn't know the singular. It's the blind leading the blind when it comes to writing legibly.

Surely that just reinforces my point :)

At least you understood where I was going with it

80/34 = 61", they're clearly not a spinner

Is that a Campag Comp Triple rear derailleur? didn't think it'd work well with an MTB cassette, shouldn't be surprised with it's long arm.
Loving the home-made front derailleur though, did they wrap it in something?

Looks like they fabricated a whole new cage from something like Delrin, using the original steel cage as a skeleton.
Also, look at the rear dérailleur hanger - it looks like the B-Pivot has been moved further from the axle than usual, presumably to accommodate the big sprocket.

wonder what kind if ridiculous speeds theyll be reaching on the way down.. -
• #70
more than 40mph that's for sure (which is pretty standard on a normal geared set-up).
-
• #71
but from the look of the landscape i just wonder if there will be anywhere straight enough to go much fastr than you safely could with a normal 52t ring

Could be Alps?
French waterbottle on bike.
Then again, probably Himalayas.
It was ... "Only 55 / 19 what a WIMP!"
Maybe I should put sarcasm tags around it for you?
Also it is on a thread called "massive crank ring porn" ... Not a lot about what I say is going to be entirely serious ... kinda like "is it wrong thread" I made some time ago.
