Don't let Jayloo hear that spacehoppers are welcome...

I'm bummed I can't make this.
Poots, I'd have been happy to answer your call for somebody to lead/navigate as I've done this route four or five times this year but sadly I volunteered to lead the St Margarets ride on the same day. I'll come along if that ride doesn't happen for some reason though.

That would be ace, if the St Margarets ride didn't happen for some reason...I did a recce and was ok-ish but help would be much appreciated, especially getting out of London - need to re-recce this weekend I think.
Thanks...potentially!

I *might *have a spare Garmin that you can borrow for the day if not.

Forget Garmins. Mapholders are the fashion for '12. Get in early.

I'm still planning on coming and I know the way, more or less.

More or less sounds fine to me! That with a turn guide and an iphone, we'll be laughing....I certainly know which way NOT to go this time...and that turn to Ditchling is very easily missed I discovered!

I ended up on the A23, cycled through a farm, then across the South downs way for 40 minutes. Made sure i didn't miss the turn the next time...

This is tomorrow!
cross posting from Ladies forum but wanted to draw people's attention to this ride http://www.lfgss.com/thread70454.html
It IS going to be a ladies forum ride, but boys/gears/space hoppers welcome to come along on the understanding that this is going to be very much a social ride, plenty of stops, waiting for everyone sort of thing.
Also following Ed's suggestion that posting here might bring ride to attention to people with prettier, better halves who may not be on the forum but might like to come along.
