repost, but whatever

I got over my bullhorn hate long time ago. They are just far more practical than straight/risers, and atleast I dont need the lower part of drop bars on my cruising fixie skiddah as the bike doesnt have clipless pedals, I'm not wearing padded pants driving it or actually never in a that much hurry anywhere anyway.

I want this as my city bike.

Do they actually like them or is it more bullshit hipsters like those who buy lo-pro's and put epic riser bars on. Bullhorns are meant to replicate the lower area on drop handlebars. Drop handlebars on that with the bottoms at the height of the bullhorns would make it look like a tourer/Scoble bike.
If you have only one have brake (so no hoods), and ride around in the same gear all the time. Bull horns set somewhere between usual drop and hood height. Provide three great positions. Upright on the flats, on the mid section of the horns, or streatched out on the ends.
I think mine look naff. But I love for riding fixed.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the fact that is only has a back brake

It doesn't look anything special to be honest, the picture made it look so.

No shit, Sherlock.
the picture made it look so.
Correct.
Nice image of a fun-looking bike, made me think "I want a go on that" (my definition of bike porn).

I think my town bike looks much nicer than that, even though I say so myself
-
• #53290
Fair point that, you did have such bar on your fixie skidder as well.

Hey, isn't bike porn is a dick-waving contest for us to upstage other's version of bike porn with our idea of a bike porn?

rides like poo.

Oh it's your bike?
-
• #53297
nope i just know what bikes with steeper head angles and tall swept back bars ride like. at first you're loving it, going slow... and then you speed up and it feels kinda sketchy but you deal with it thinking oh it's just relaxed, i like it.... and then you try to climb a hill and it sucks.... but you deal with it.... and then a car door opens and you try to turn quickly and you realize that you can't get your weight into the turn effectively in such short notice.... and then you change them back. rides like poo.

I still want a go.

Jersey, maybe you'd enjoy the ride more if you didn't turn quickly every time a car door opens? There are car doors opening every second of the day!
From above, watching you ride must be like watching a tear fall from Keith Richards eye and run down his face.
Any more on this? Looks lurvely... Is it something to do with makr? They can't go wrong...
