yeah, but don't you see that 7075 is stronger for any given weight/design, so if you buy another grade it will either be weaker or heavier. also, not for the first time, your applying bullshit theory to something you have pretty low experience of. why not just accept you know less than the other people involved for once? it's not something to be ashamed of. I probably know less than you about shitheap 70s road bikes for example...
