On a matching Defender... wow.
I'm not generally a fan of IF frames, but this is amazing. Even though it's just a tigged frame (?) it's such a simple and clean build.

• #53253
Even the Defender is porn worthy too: It looks clean. :-)
-
• #53254
With no spare wheel on it, the rear door may stay on too!
-
• #53255
Is it just me or does it look like the brake blocks don't contact the rim properly? Even with the blocks set as low as possible on the cantilever arms...

IF head angles are always so steep.

IF 'cross bike on the Lan'rover is lush, really clean and simple.

The Defender bike is actually a Tonic Fabrication frame rather than an Independent Fabrication.

yes please.

yes please.
They sell them in Brick lane bikes.

• #53263
Why is that not on a velodrome?
Also, bars at the wrong angle.
-
• #53264
Because it's on a street.

Bullhorns on a fauxpro. Standard and expected but still wrong. What is it with fixies having bullhorns?
-
• #53266
Because people obviously like them.
-
• #53267
I'm off to do a junior crossword...these questions are far too challenging.
-
• #53268
Do they actually like them or is it more bullshit hipsters like those who buy lo-pro's and put epic riser bars on. Bullhorns are meant to replicate the lower area on drop handlebars. Drop handlebars on that with the bottoms at the height of the bullhorns would make it look like a tourer/Scoble bike.

It's really quite worrying just how many people all over the world forget to come on here and ask how they should set up there bikes isn't it?
It's almost like they think they know how they want them to be set up better than the complete strangers on here do.
Mind bottling!

Are we actually arguing about the bullhorn bar being in the 'wrong height'?
frankly, it's perfectly fine, moreover they usually replicated the brake hood position than drop for some people.

Rubbish.
Look at the end of the 'horns. They're at tt height – a good enough height for sprinting and good enough for climbing whilst out of the saddle.

Now where's the 'what clothes should I wear tomorrow' thread?
-
• #53273
What is it with fixies having bullhorns?
We all want to be cowboys?
-
• #53274
Eugh, I see you're all beyond reasoning.

bullhorns are great. i used to run pursuit bars on my old lo pro, really good bars.
