I can't imagine that surface will ever be grippy. You might get it less slippy, but any surface where your front wheel will wash out when accelerating is not suitable for a polo tournament IMO.
Everything other than the surface has been brilliant with Cambridge events, and an indoor court is an amazing thing. But it's about the game, and the game doesn't work on a slippy surface.
