Holloway Road / Arsenal

Hey,

Just a quick question - Does anyone know somewhere reasonably safe to lock a bike on Holloway Road?

Got tickets for the Arsenal game later and usually leave my bike at a friends, but he is on holiday so can't.

I know this is a slightly obvious question - well lit, busy areas etc, but a couple of mates have had their bikes nicked from Highbury and Islington recently...

Can do even better than that. The Emirates provides secure bike parking complete with security guard during games. The entrance is on Drayton Park next to the club offices.

There is secured (i.e., behind a locked gate and with a security guard) bike parking at the stadium.

It's to the right of the Arsenal store on Drayton Park. They open it up for games.

I'm riding to the game tonight for my biweekly dose of angst.

One thing to say is that they really like you to take your bike as soon as the game is finished...I suspect that if you leave it too long to collect you'll find your bike locked away. Could be wrong though, just going on the experience of one game...maybe the guard gets to go home as soon as the last bike is gone :)
