When you go to the LBS just buy a pedal spanner instead. It will probably be cheaper than paying them to do it, you get to learn how to do it and you have the tool forever. Check youtube for instructions. Learn how to do this incredibly simple task and you will feel good about it and you can move onto more advanced things as you go. The beauty of having a sweet fixeh is that they are so simple to maintain and fix yourself.
