Hello LFGSS ladies. Firstly may i say that if me posting this here causes any offence or grumblings then please do let me know and i will delete the thread and head off to the classifieds!
I am therefore looking for a nice frame to start with. She would like a classic looking (thin tubing) steel frame. She is 5'4" tall (will try ascertain inside leg measurement) so i guess somewhere around 52cm seat tube. If anyone has any thoughts on that size being correct and obviously what have any of you lovely folks got going for sale? I will most likely get it powdercoated so colour/condition is not that important, would prefer horizontal dropouts but semi-horizontal will do. Cheaper the better as it will be somewhat of an experiment in how she gets on without gears.

OK. I am building my fiancé a bike for Christmas so thought i should start sourcing parts early so as to not get myself in a pickle. She currently has a trek sofa on wheels and wants a singlespeed to actually let her get places fast rather than by enjoying the view!
