On Friday I was soldering. I was not wearing goggles but I would appreciate no preaching on this subject. Felt a bit of a pain in my eye a bit later. Go to RVEEH and it turns out I have a chemical burn from the flux and a blob of solder burned INTO my eye... FML. Word of caution kids, always wear your safety glasses. I didn't feel it until later as I was using MAPP gas, C.3,000C burn temperature, clean wound though and the doctor got most of it out. This was also terrifying, having a scary Polish woman coming at you with a needle to pick a bit of metal out of your eyeball is no fun.
Patch for 24hrs
Patch off last night and one seriously wonky eye. Should have no effect on my sight though after about a week or so, got lucky there.
