I've not had a chance to measure the bolt on the Tektro front brake yet - Will do so tonight.

The bolt length is approx 28mm long.

Cheers for that. I think that's still a bit short to masquerade as a back brake for me. Sorry.

I have some old steel back brakes with plenty'o'bolt. No shoes / blocks though.
