Grey tyres are awesome! Grey with a gum side-wall is the holy grail.

with a double break... you only need a rear white tyre right ? I hardly can see how your front wheel can skid and leave a mark on the floor
-
• #43
If you're front brake only (or heavy) it's pretty easy to skid the front wheel on an indoor-style court.
I might rock a white and red tyre, snazzy.
-
• #44
hmm, white and red skid marks, yummy.
-
• #45
You might not intentionally skid the front much but if you jackknife or wash out, even an unbraked wheel can mark.
Don't white tyres look pimp?
-
• #46
anyone got a spare 700c white tire they aren't using?
-
• #47
If you get desperate I have 2 28c rando's with not much tread left.
Appealing I know. -

Any updates on results after first day? Spring Break?

It's been great so far... we won all our games yesterday except for L'Equipe (2-0), our group seemed marginally easier than the others, some great games yesterday (eddisons working out well, bambule with some nice attacking movement and ponies doing their thing), etc. Two teams per group dropped out from the original 24.
On to a 16 double elim today, which might up the aggression levels... the reffing was very light touch yesterday, so we'll see what happens there... the court/food/beer/Europeans have all been awesome! Adam didn't get in till 4am last night, he swears this won't have an impact today (fingers crossed).
I see L'Equipe, Ponies and Eddisons as top three, we're going to give them a good run for their money though (some nice calm passing plays are working for us, plus speedy breaks down the wings, joy).
