Leather full finger gloves.

  • I UTFS but no joy. I have been looking for a pair of brown leather gloves for some time for posing rather than anything else. To give my club mates a laugh. I realise they will be hopeless in the coming colder months but its a whim I would like to be indulged in.

I had hoped to find something bike specific but to no avail. I dont want a driving glove more a 'working' glove if you catch my drift.

    Any ideas?

    Many fanks.

  • Ah, saw them. I dont own any Rapha, but if I did it might be a brown pair of gloves. Dont seem to do them now.

Have seen these though which might cut it. Shooting gloves, don't you know. With fold back trigger finger. :)

Either these or I'm thinking M&S.

  • Rapha = napha.

    Dents ftw!

  • Get Giro LX in black

  • Mine were from Peacocks.

  • Good work.

Looking for something rather more traditional in appearance. Dents are very nice but on the steep side, price wise.

    They do/did brown .

I have these and love them. Also the white Rapha/PS track gloves too and they're even better/more comfortable.

  • What?! Try T to the K to the Maxx.

    Equestrian sites ?

  • knog do some full finger leather gloves but maybe not in brown...they have some nice cream and green ones.

  • Do they cross country ski around your area? Lots of potential for gloves there.
Also work gloves like from http://www.raberglove.com/products.html

  • Dents gloves are made in Warminster, where my dad lives.

I have used some for riding, the fur lined ones are really comfy, but the fur compacts and falls out. Also the stitching is not robust enough for the stresses of holding on to bars/brakes, and tends not to last too long for bike riding.

  • Hackett and Dunhill do really lovely leather gloves.

Not sure how they'll hold up to cycling...but that might depend on how fine/soft a leather you go for.

  • On the bike during Autumn I wear these:

Yes, they are leather gardening gloves.
    Don't laugh.
They are a good fit, very grippy, warm and breathable. They are lined and are very, very tough.

    Less than £10 from Amazon.
