Vagueness, a real skill can't you tell!! My apologies, looking for 700c, silver, on a Miche rim, 30mm dish, radial lace........ non machined means better braking surface right?

Are there any pictures of the Mach1 rims built up anywhere? I've had a look through the thread but can't find anything. Also do the Miche hubs need a weird lockring?
-
• #1115
Hi mate, there's a pic of the Mach1 rim further back in the thread. The Miche is a normal lock ring and they come with one as standard. V.

Hiya thanks for the reply. Aye I saw the close-up of a section of the rim earlier in the thread if that's what you're referring to, I was just wondering if there were any of a whole wheel. Not a problem, I shall most likely be ordering some off you in the next couple of weeks for my imminent build!
cheers.

Jim, I think I just threaded one of your hubs. I am gutted. Do you do fixed/fixed hubs instead of fixed/free? If they are track wheels it's a little strange to have fixed/free, no?
-
• #1122
out of interest, how'd you thread it, and which hub was it?
-
• #1123
I've threaded the lockring part of the Miche hub. I guess I must have put it on ever so slightly wonky. It just span around and around, never getting any tighter... Oddly, my 17T sprocket works fine, but not the 15T one, which I was putting on for the last Monday night session at HH. I still haven't ridden the new track yet and it's driving me crazy!

My track cog is on the free side, secured by a loctited BB lockring . Fine for track (not much need to resist your legs), not really safe for road use.
Is the entire lockring thread gone, or you just struggling to get it started screwing on?
-
• #1125
Screwing it on initially is fine, it's the last few mill where it get's tight, then the tension goes and it doesn't get any tighter, just spins...
The loctite is an idea though, but don't want it slipping if I have to slowdown suddenly...
Right chaps..

Black Novatec hub.
