Okay a little update. Richard was conscious at KCH but has quite bad injuries, without being too specific. His family are with him.

Thoughts go out to you RIchard. I cycle through that junction each day - it''s a nasty one.

It's a horrible junction. My chain came off once. after hitting one of the massive potholes. Hit the road in the middle of four lanes and no one even stopped...
