I was wondering if you'd found out anything about the tempest. I've owned one for a while and even with the production date I can't find any reference in the catalogues for it. I don't know that they're particularly remarkable frames - although mine is very big - it'd be interesting to find out what the original groupset was - I suspect crummy Raleigh 'custom' combined with Sachs ECO shifters.
