those bars work quite well. I was running a set like that, but the stem was too short so I flipped them back to a more sit-up-and-beg style. Pure laziness I know.
In terms of feel they're a bit like bull horns, in that you stretch out when you want to tuck down. Overall they're a nice balance for a more leasurly bike and have more hand positions than risers.
