Woops.
Dibs retracted Hilary sorry mate. That's bad form I know. Just had a look at the funds and realised I'm strapped.
(getting hitched in a few months and haven't bought rings etc yet and can't do both).
Lovely frames again man. Good luck with the sale.

Yes, 39 quid for a frame. It's an absolute outrage.

That Argos is art! - haven't seen forks like that before on the Giant - interesting frame, that aside any chance of a 22" touring frame Hilary?

That means it's been sold
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out some excellent frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html
for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.
**AND don’t forget Muswell Hill Cyclejumble, 11th June St Mary with St George Parish Hall, corner of Park Rd & Cranley Gardens, Muswell Hill, London N10 3AH – I will be there … I can deliver items there. **

ARGOS LO-PRO FRAME 1991 Dual 700C
Seat Tube (ctt): 24.5in (62cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Front & rear: 700C/sprints
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
This is a beautifully fillet brazed lo-pro frame from one of the top framebuilders in the UK. It was built in 1991 from Columbus SL tubing, it has Columbus Air fork blades and Shimano semi-vertical dropouts allowing a very small amount of fore and aft movement. The paint is in excellent condition with only a couple of small marks. £195
GIANT PELETON SUPERLITE ROAD FRAME c1991
Seat Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 45mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Giant Peleton Superlite are really very nice bikes with really sweet handling and great build quality. When we tested one on Cycling Plus in 1992 all the test crew thought it had gorgeous sweet handling and was superb value for money. This frame built from 4130 double butted tubing dates from around 1991 and is in excellent condition with only a few small marks to the paint. The headset is not functional – its missing a few bits. The vertical dropouts means that it is not really very suitable as a conversion. £95
TOM AVON ROAD FRAME c1982
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 48mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Tom Avon was a Bristol based framebuilder operating in the 1980s. This frame has had one owner from new and is in excellent condition – just the tubing decals have been damaged. The original owner thought that he had probably only ridden it on a few occasions – it certainly looks as if that is the case. £195
CLAUD BUTLER ELECTRON ROAD FRAME 1970s
Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 65mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This Claud Butler Electron road frame from the 1970s is probably built from Reynolds 531 tubing; it certainly has Reynolds 531 forks. Its in very good condition; there are a number of marks to the paint but nothing too obtrusive and would be great as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. £65
HOLDSWORTH SPECIAL c1982
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.5in (55cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 55mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
The Special was Holdsworths fast road bike frame that was designed for both racing and training with sufficient clearance just for mudguards... This frame is in very sound condition but does have quite a number of marks to the paint. It would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £89
ORBIT GOLD MEDAL ROAD FRAME 1980s New Old Stock
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 62mm
This Orbit road frame from the 1980s has never been used or built up. Its probably built from Reynolds 531 tubing and is in excellent condition with just a small mark or two to the paint. It would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £120
FAVORI ROAD FRAME 1970s/80s
Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 50mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Favori is another name used by Ellis Briggs for their frames. This frame is in very good/excellent condition and dates I think from the late 1970s. It has long Campagnolo dropouts which will make it a very easy conversion to fixed or single speed. A really lovely frame. £135
CARLTON FRANCO-ITALIA ROAD FRAME c1956
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 118mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 66mm
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This Carlton Franco-Italia road frame from c1956 has been badly painted with blue Hammerite. Underneath the crap paint though there is a good quality road frame built almost certainly from Reynolds 531 tubing which will make an excellent budget conversion. £39
