I've driven my Mini up that test hill, nearly shat myself as I approached the top and all I could see was sky. 25% gradient up at the top.

I live about a mile from Brooklands, I used to climb on the banked motor racing track when I was younger. Must say I've never actually been round the museum!

Brooklands are awful at promoting the events that they put on. It's surprising how much interesting stuff, if you're into motor cars, they have going on.
I'll definitely be into popping over for the vintage cycle festival.

Wow, that's excellent, reckon I can make it.
Went to Brooklands yesterday for the Vintage Sports Car Club event, which was very good. Anyway, I thought that some of you might not know that they have a bicycle section in the museum, with some interesting pieces.
Various.
1905 BSA path racer
1930s Evans
Dave Bursford's roller racer
Reg Harris' track bike
The majority of the museum is pre-war racing cars and motorbikes, and aeroplanes. They've got a Concorde, and a Wellington that was removed from the depths of Loch Ness.
The centenary of motor-cycle racing is coming up in April, and includes bicycles races up the test hill, if anyone is interested.
