  • One for 2012 that I have just entered

    http://www.madmarchharesportive.co.uk/

The Mad March Hare is a mini-Sportive taking place on Sunday 4th March 2012.

The event is intended as a warm-up for the summer calendar of Sportives. Because of the unpredictable weather and shorter days, we've kept the distance manageable on fast and safe, open country roads which will take riders through quiet, beautiful North Worcestershire 'chocolate-box' villages and hamlets.

The route is generally flat except for a couple of tasty climbs and then we've thrown in a heavy going route home, enough to test the fittest of riders' legs! This year the route is slightly different again...and we're keeping the entry fee as low as possible as normal.

You can expect the following for your entry fee:
    A safe, quiet, picturesque route
    A clearly way-marked route with day-glo signage.
    Route-card backup.
1 Feed station, food and drinks will be provided.
    Individual Times for all
    Professional photography of the event
    HQ with toilets
    FREE offroad parking
FREE Hot/Cold Drinks before and after your ride
FREE Bacon Baps & Hot Dogs after your ride
    Headquarters
The HQ for the event is Becketts Farm, Heath Farm, Alcester Road, Wythall B47 6AJ. For a map click here.

    Entry Fee
The entry fee for this event is £12.00 for Pre-entry and £15.00 EOL.

Due to the popularity of the event in 2009, 2010 and 2011, for 2012 we are moving to a larger venue which allows us to increase the entry limit up to 500 riders on a first come first-served basis.

    Entries open October 2011.
