What I meant is that it sound like your set-up on the TCR is different to the Cinelli, rather than the Cinelli being faster.
I find myself being able to push it easily on a Surly Crosscheck which is basically build as a tourer, something you don't usually want to push it on, which I though was odd considering that my Brooklyn were put together as a fast fixed wheel road bike, eventually I changed the stem on the Brooklyn for a 60mm one to shorten the reach, and were able to push it easily, much more than the Surly now.
