I suggest the Port Mahon in St Clements as they are cyclist friendly, they have a walled garden and the food is AWESOME!

Yeah, why not. I don't really know anyone. Always up for a beer.

Not in the country at the moment but if something regular got up and running I'd be up for it on my return.

As caferacer91 suggests Port Mahon 18:30 tonight, Wednesday 14th.
should we wear red carnations?
I cant be there till at least 19:30 and only for a pint.

A swift pint at 7:30 works well for me. Will see what I can do about a carnation...

And in the tradition of LFGSS lists:
Premire oxbeers, 7.30ish, 14-09-11 the Port Mahone. carnation and/or bike optional.

Thursdays would work.
What happened last week, by the way? I was in the Port Mahon for a while, but couldn't see anyone. Admittedly, I'm a bit short sighted and was distracted by my squinting at the football on the TV.
Approached one fella and, short of asking him if he was a 'fat old bloke' (probably not a great opening gambit in a pub), confused the hell out of him with talk of LFGSS and forums. Left after that...

I think you should go:
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/27/27269/Harcourt_Arms/Oxford
its a proper old man pub that.
unless its changed they didn't serve food, played jazz, had boardgames behind the counter, the landlord was super friendly and the beer was relatively cheap. -

Seems all of us had other shit going on this Thursday or we're all just broke. The latter is probably more likely, I know Iam.
