well, they don't really mount anything there, at all.

Most taxidermists won't do pets, not because of some ethical contradiction, but because they know better than to try and appease a pet owner with a facsimile of their loved one. After all, hunting trophy is a testimony to the death of an animal; not something a pet owner wants to be reminded of.

Taxidermy is a fascinating, illuminating process, and probably the *least *destructive form of domestication we have yet discovered.
