For sale elsewhere for o/o £899
Will accept offers over £850 however via lfgss by private message. Would also sell frame and components separately but reluctant to separate as this bike is so complete and original.

Thankyou for giving good counsel to a newbie. No offense intended. Someone asked to see pictures - hence the link. Image upload rejected the pics for some reason

Quite a reactionary crowd here. I am feeling uneasy. Anyway - for serious bike lovers. Check out the pic. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ku-x3xRoSac/TmOmjQjArVI/AAAAAAAAAjE/wrYBl_43y1k/s1600/_MG_4323.jpeg
Then relax and have a look at this Bartali, Coppi, Gimondi and the Tour de France Part 4 - YouTube
Then this
http://www.herneweb.com/image.php?imageID=195Now are you interested in a real classic columbus steel Bianchi bike??

Apologies again about the technical hitches. Please be kind to new members. By the way for those who talk to me nicely, I also have two beautiful frames:-
a Rossin (no forks) and a Simoncini. Both Columbus steel. Simoncini has chrome forks and chain stay and oval tubes. Gorgeous.
And.. for a good home - some Cinelli Giro d'Italia bars. PMs preferred but not vital if polite. -

I thought i had seen this bike before...
http://www.ebay.co.uk:80/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320759810354&clk_rvr_id=265087572728
It's a nice bike but people are quite strict about how the forum
Operates ( in a good way i think). If you have posted it in ebay finds that is a no-no as well.
As this bike is posted in multiple places, and even as lovely as it is, i'm not gonna wish you good luck With the sale as it looks like you have all bases covered.....

Why would I list it as a find??? I OWN the bike. The link someone else objected to was my own ad! I took down the link to obey 'the rules' I didnt know about in deference to more seasoned and knowledgeable members. Now you point out the same ad link out as if I hadnt seen it.
I placed the Ebay ad! Strange...

^ lots of naughty people list their own bikes as eBay 'finds'. For obvious reasons.
-
• #22
OK. To spell it out. 1st you put it up as PM me an offer. Then you linked to the ebay auction it is for sale in as pictures. Both these moves are against the "rules" of the forum. That is why lots of people have been pointing it out. Seeing as you seem to have signed up soley to sell the bike and have not paid heed to how things are done round these parts then you will get flamed for it. It has all been quite mild so far but maybe take some hints and either take it off ebay or take it off of here. Up to you but someone will always take the time to derail your thread until you do.

my sister has this same model bike for peanuts on craigslist in san francisco. lol

OK so you are saying it is against the rules to offer to the LFGSS enthusiasts at a lower price than to the Ebay wider audience? (which is what I was trying to do...in the spirit of things). Clearly if sold here first then the Ebay ad would be withdrawn as they would not have sourced the interest and vice versa. There is over a week to go on the Ebay ad so plenty of time for an offer here.
There is loads of stuff for sale on this forum. Why not share good stuff with enthusiasts? Or is it primarily for chat?

By the way I have been looking at the site for a few months without joining up. Seemed like a nice bunch of enthusiasts so I thought I would join and offer my precious bike at the same time. I didnt know I was stepping into an environment where people get 'flamed' for not knowing their way around to use your expression.
I have a Bianchi 1976/77 for sale.
Original celeste paintwork and Campagnolo component logo on crossbar. Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset. original Cinelli leather saddle on Campag seatpost. Campag hubs. Tubs on Mavic rims. 3TTT bars with original stitched leather. Campag pedals. Original Binda straps/Cristophe clips. Picture here:-

Very straight and original. A remakable example of the Felice Gimondi Giro d'Italia winning era ('76).
Open to serious offers only please.
