Wanted: Need basket handle bars

ive seen on a couple of hipset bikes handlebars that are a basket too. where can i find one? building up my old bike for my sister and really need this :/

They are from Copenhagenparts http://copenhagenparts.com/ toyko fixed gear have them or can get them, but be warned though if I remember correctly they are pretty expensive (150 or more) and can slip forward and downward depending on what stem you use, a thompson stem seems the most popular choice for safety

How old Yasi? It looks like these will need an ahead stem. TFG did have one the other day.

the fuji classic, for my sis, i dont think it will look pleasing to the eyes as she wants red wheels but it will be practical and comfortable.

these parts are awfully espensive but shell be using it everyday i guess :/

i couldnt find one on the shop might have to ride in.

if it slips, weld it in place.

Just get a Wald front basket (they have supports), and some bars that bend back as well as up. Much more useful when carrying a load on a front basket.

nah, they're really easy to fit. only issue is that you might have to cut down the supports that go to the axle, but as they're pretty soft metal this can be done with a hacksaw then new holes drilled in the correct position to reattach
