That looks fun but is the same day as the 3 Peaks cross which I'm planning on doing. Would have been up for it otherwise.

i quite like the sound of this.

you can get fit enough to do this comforably at a decent pace in 2 months, i reckon. it is 6 months away!!

i did 180 miles last year in June with about 4 60ish mile rides as training (apart from commute and riding around town)... it wasn't as much fun as it would have been had i prepared properly, but i didn't suffer too much and still enjoyed most of it!

interesting, but it doesn't actually go round London.

You guys aren't filling me full of confidence...I'm off for 110mi tomorrow and questioning my sanity. I'm also finishing 75mi away but thankfully at my parents house...

Hi, I have recently started with Access Sport the Charity organising the Ride Around London Sportive, I am just getting transport organised so hopefully it won't be long before this option will be available at the checkout, so bike and rider can return to the start.

Any questions about Ride Around London 2011 email us at ridelondon@accesssport.co.uk and usually get back to people within 12hours. Will also get the FAQ section up by the end of the week too!

Look forward to all those riding, specially on fixies, my collegue is going to be doing it on his. Let me know if you are!

I have always been into sport but not massive on cycling, it is now all day every day and I can't help now getting a proper road bike and hopefully a fixed gear too for commuting in London!
