It is expensive yes, but I like it, I would hazard a guess that a lot of people don't (low lighting, schweffy clientel, food that isn't anything AMAZING.) There are some terrific dishes on the menu and some nice cocktails. If you go request the comfy bit on the left as it's definitely the best and order the duck salad, satay chicken and merlot beef and a Haka cocktail. :)
Ed have you been to Triphals in Southfields? really nice little indian, or Al Mirage over in Tooting (are you based out that way, WImbledon?)
