Just to say that as I'm leaving for Australia soon I'm now handing the reins over to Paul Cowhen.
Not that these sessions need much organising these days (see the beginning of the thread a year and a half ago. I had to phone people to beg them to come) but at the moment they do still need co-ordinating.
These beginners / casual sessions are part of a much bigger polo scene and we even have our own association, the LHBPA (London Hardcourt Bike Polo Association). Within this beginners sessions will be pushed North and South London and encouraged to grow, so being the South London beginners representative is an official role which will require some dedication later down the line.
I know Paul will make a really good job of this.
If you wanted to join the LHBPA it's £5 a year and it's these people that get you the equipment and organise the awesome tournaments. If you can spare £5 for polo then do please join. http://www.lhbpa.org/join/
I'll come on Tuesday to help Louis drink all that beer, and maybe the occasional throw in after, but I just wanted to say to all those that have been and gone, beginners / casual polo was truly awesome, thanks very much.
