Since I'm having 3 track bikes and I'm only riding one I'm planning to sell the other two.
Only problem is that I totally don't have a clue about the money they're worth, it would be nice if I had a price indication.1. Peugeot Pista
- cinelli stem
- mercier headset
- stronglight crankset
- mavic wheels
Frame is in very good condition!
2. Super Vitus Pista
- super vitus double butted tubing
- dura-ace headset
- 3TTT stem
- stronglight crankset
- gall wielen met dura-ace hub
- san marco fox seat
Thanks in advance!

I've got a set of wheels - Shimano 600 tricolor/ultegra uniglide hubs laced to silver araya RS-430 rims. Good - excellent condition. I'll get pictures up later. Any ideas?

Not really looking for a specific price, but I have a fork from a Raleigh team banana and I know the team bananas usually fetch the lowest prices in the 2nd hand market. But is the team banana fork much worse than most of the steel forks out there? Will they be an OK match for a Harry Quinn frame made of Vitus 181 tubing?
The reason I ask is because I have to respray/powder coat the frame anyhow so I wonder if I should send the Raleigh forks in for a respray in the same colour or wait until I have bought another (better) set of forks. The most practial alternative I could find is to buy a generic chromed fork for 70 quid from BLB.

you should get a fair amount for both of those frames, decent pista frames start at around £300, and these are both a little higher than that i rekon...
my question is, are the mavic wheels in the top one sprints or clincher? cos if they clincher, i may well snap them off ya!

Hi apologies in advance if this is not the right place to post this. I recently was given a nice Rossin Record road frame from a friend in pretty good cosmetic condition. It has a small hairline crack on the bottom of one of the chainstays. Is it worth me looking at getting it repaired? (i am a poor) I don't have any sentimental attachment to it but if anyone has any knowledge on how much this kind of repair would cost versus how much i could find a similar frame for it would be much appreciated. It's to pretty to be gathering dust.

Hi All,
Im looking to sell a black Surly Steamroller purchased november last year to fund a new road bike, and was wondering if you kind people could chip in and tell me what i might get for it so I can work out what I can afford...
I took off the graphics inc the front badge (as much as they make good frames, Surlys logos arent too pretty) The only real hardware change I've made is replacing the stock handles with nitto b123s. Done a few small things like...
removing the rear brake (standard bars and rear brake would be included)
armadillos instead of stock tyres
New chain a few months ago.Its going into brixton cycles for a full service on monday so will be riding fresh if/when it gets sold
I've ridden it pretty much every day since purchased so the paint is worn/scratched in places and the seat's has small tears on both sides. Thats about all, any help would be appreciated
John

tips (and how it'll go);
Take better photos.
Sell for a little more than you think you'd get for it (says £450).
Let haggling commence.
Sell to those who called first dibs.
Some bitching and whining will be going on.
Arrange pick up a couple of time because they didn't turn up the first time.
Finally, sold.

54cm 531c Frame, Shimano 105 groupset, Cinelli stem and bars, ritchey seatpost, rubbish saddle, alesa wheels, Conti Gatorskin tyres, LOOK carbon arc pedals.
Custom made for me in 1991, barely used since 1997. frame is almost pristine and just needs a wash.
more pics here http://wp.me/p1AsMV-lt
once I get an idea what it might be worth, I may offer it on classifieds here or on ebay.
This is much appreciated, as I can't ride anymore (motorbike accident) and need to get shot of the bike (wife and baby pressure).
Delivery from Barnsley to London would be included, as I need to get down for a few days anyway.
anyway, Thanks.

Similar bikes (531/reasonable groupset etc) seem to go for around £200 on e-bay.
It might be worth having a look there.

I was wondering what the general consensus was about the value of a Charge Plug Freestyler frame, forks, headset, BB and seatpost. It's the 2010 model (in galvanised silver) and is in reasonable condition with the usual cable rub and other marks from daily use. Nothing serious and no dents etc.
Thoughts on the approximate value?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone know how much a Nitto Crystemblue stem goes for these days?
