Nice! Been planning on that upgrade, please post if you find it difficult to install?
bit more nervy than i thought as you have to remove these weird ribbon cable's off the motherboard and the connectors are full of tiny pins, not all the mounting screws for the media drive are used as there are no tabs provided also on the 2011 13in you have to remove a plastic strip so a cable block and subwoofer housing can fit.
in hindsight i would buy one of the caddys with the tabs from ebay, easy to spot in the pics as the tabs stick out, it's fine without them as the tray can't really go anywhere but it would be better to use them.
the drive is SATA III but is only showing as a 3gbps connection not 6. no biggie and could just be firmware. the main drive bay is sata III 6gbs but only runs at 3gbs as it's a normal HD. i could swap the drives round but lack of trim support means i can't be arsed to deal with 3rd party terminal faffing. will probably buy an OWC with sandforce controller for the main HD bay at a later date.
i realise it's the 5200rpm drive that's the bottleneck not processors/ram/scatch disk.
